Sho had been, for the most part, entirely focused on Gailardia, who had ascended to his true knightly form, before quickly swiping the Data Miracle card. Moments later, he turned to the side, and was caught by surprise by the appearance of the Biyomon, chuckling as he glared at each one. "Oi, lookit this. I guess you little hatchlings don't quite realize who I am. Sho Shishio is my name. It means King of Lions, so you little birdies are trying to pick a fight with one big bad cat, and you're about to be devoured!" He yelled, running at them as his lance appeared in his hand, spinning his body to sweep it at all three.
Using his boost in speed, Gailardia dashed forth, aiming to get a powerful finishing blow in on the stunned Chirinmon, before noticing the attack from behind, spinning midair to block it nearly completely with his buckler, a bit shooting off to the side and knocking a few feathers from his left wing and leaving a noticeable wound. Grunting, he returned his attention to his stunned target, dashing at him again with a swift, precise slash aimed for the neck. If it struck, it would likely give a clean decapitation.
In another part of the melee, Badaq was having worse luck. In his attempt to go after Madleomon, he had gotten ambushed halfway through his attack, only firing one correctly, which managed to stay dead on track all the way to Madleomon, as the other shot off in the general direction he had originally come from. Skidding along the ground after the tackle, using his claws to stop, Badaq turned to face his new, leonine foe, glaring at him and making full eye contact. It was now lion versus lion, and Badaq's fiery spirit was raring to go. However, he wouldn't make the first move, as the foe had already seen one of his techniques, and he didn't want to give away too much of his fighting ability too quickly.

They all stopped, bodies twisted and faces contorted with pain. AncientSphinxmon was too strong, and the rookies weren’t yet old enough to feel the pain, but something was definitely happening with the dark markings that cursed the ultimate’s bodies.
The champions on the sidelines also roared out in pain, twisting and writhing to stop it. Drake had managed to get close enough to MadLeomon to press his Digivice against one massive ankle, and the markings around his skin squirmed.
MadLeomon snarled with surprise, face contorted with mild pain, and he whirled around to face the human. His red, glowing eyes were lined with hate and loathing, but whatever he had been attempting to do to MadLeomon with that crest and his Digivice, it was only causing him more pain. The champions were finally starting to still as the markings started to fade, but the marks were too deeply in tune with anything higher than that to be purified.
And purified meant certain death.
Suddenly, in unison, the champions all fell still, then burst into data. MadLeomon kicked his leg out to avoid the oncoming blast from his opponent, probably kicking Drake to the side in the process. He leapt backwards out of harm’s way and a barking laugh left his maw. He halted slightly when he took a blow to the side, but ignored the flaming lion as it now had a new opponent.
“Thank you for the help, human!” he snarled, lifting up his arms. His jaw dropped and the back of his throat started to glow. All of the data from the champions swirled through the air and concentrated toward MadLeomon, feeding him and replenishing his health. More and more data swirled toward him as all of the Digimon fighting the tamers—excluding the rookies—took direct and severe hits from their opponents. They immediately burst into data.
However, two of the Chirinmon just disappeared. They had been mere copies, an afterimage created from one of their special abilities.
When all of the data was gone, the digimon he absorbed never to see the light of day again, MadLeomon fell forward, catching himself on his massive hands. His body began to emit a bright light and his teeth were bared in a sinister grin. “Looks like I have some tricks up my sleeves as well,” he snarled, red eyes gleaming with power.
Soon his entire body was engulfed with the light. Though it didn’t look like his form was changing much, something began to build over his hand. A powerful roar was suddenly heard once the object had finished forming, and the light around MadLeomon shattered like broken glass, revealing a new and improved MadLeomon. His body was now encased with several pieces of metal armor, and attached to his hand was a giant chainsaw, the blades spinning wildly before slowing to a stop. His tail thrashed behind him.
Chest heaving, MadLeomon picked up his head and opened his mouth into a wide roar. “MadLeomon Armed Mode!” he declared, lifting the chainsaw high into the air and letting it roar into life.
***
Meanwhile, the rookies advanced closer to the two humans. The Gazimon and Betamon pair bared their teeth at the boy and the girl, not even bothering to heed their pleas. They might have been trying to sound threatening, but to the two angry digimon, they just sounded desperate. What could possibly go wrong when attacking some helpless humans?
In fact, they wouldn’t even use their special abilities against them. That would be too easy.
Without another moment to spare, the two wild Digimon snarled and attack. The Gazimon bounded at Monty, claws poised to slash across his knees and immobilize him, and Betamon charged Leiko, leaping into the air to grab a hold of her arm with his teeth, the tiniest of growls rumbling in his chest. It was time to see exactly what these humans were made for and if they really did deserve to be tamers!
The Biyomon had originally had the same plan, but once they noticed that the boy they had attacked was armed, they decided that he could probably handle himself if they went all-out. For pink cockatoos, they weren’t going to be pushovers.
As he swept his sword toward the three birds, one stepped forward and raised one wing, the three claws adorning the appendage stopping the blade with a loud whang! She glared up at the human before her, pushing back against his swipe while her three comrades each leaped at him, one aiming a tackle at his gut and the other trying to take out his legs.
It was going to be a long fight.
***
AncientSphinxmon stared down his opponent, not concerned by all of the ruckus going on around him. With the black armor covering his body it was hard to spot the markings, but they were visible across his golden wings. They were more for decoration than anything else.
Slowly the mega-level digimon opened his mouth and a small ball of energy started to form in front of his teeth, radiating dark light. It rotated slowly in front of his mouth as it gathered energy until it suddenly shot with speed toward his Flaremon opponent. Unfortunately, it seemed that his goal hadn’t exactly worked either as the Madleomon was still alive for the time being. The champions that had gathered were taking out, and the pain in the ultimates prevented them from doing anything to defend themselves against the attacks. As the large cat kicked off from the ground, Drake was knocked away even with just a glancing blow, he didn’t have that power from before anymore. Watching as the champions and ultimates were reduced to data, he sighed, he had hoped to avoid that, but it seemed even purifying meant that the Digimon would die. Which meant that this was no longer a point of trying to stop him without force, they had to put everything they were on the line to bring down Madleomon.
Pushing himself up, he stood his ground firmly, even with an arm hanging limply at his side, his face still showed determination and a will that would not die down. He would make his stand here with Tyr, and they would pour their very souls into protecting the real world from this abomination. Watching as he transformed, Drake gritted his teeth, and clutched his hand fiercely, until his hand bled from the pressure. “Yeah, you have tricks, but you don’t have what humans have,” he spoke, not an ounce of his previous determination having given in. He would continue to hold himself strong, regardless of the opposition he was facing, if he didn’t do it then there would be no one to stand in the way. “You don’t have what it takes to risk everything that you are to protect the things important to you, you don’t have the courage to stand against the easy way out, and you sure as hell don’t have the strength to carry the burden of protecting people!” his voice boomed through the area, followed closely by a pulse of immense power from his digivice. The pulse strong enough to hit everything with its force, letting it feel the power that was flowing from within it.
“I will never stop fighting you, I will never stop protecting the Digimon or humans, and I won’t let you have your way,” his words resonating throughout the area at the top of the volcano. His digivice reaching peak power, now released a bright holy light from within its casing, as the sign for Omega appeared on the screen. Of course, with an arm out of commission, there was only one thing that he could so, and that was to hit his head into the screen where the symbol was held. The power that he been contained erupting in a massive burst of white light, a large golden omega symbol infusing into Tyr. As the light expanded exponentially, creating a light so powerful that it chased even the shadows away from it. Tyr began a new digivolution, carrying the courage, the determination, and the everlasting will to take this fight to the end.

His helmet lifting and moving to his left arm, as a new one made of light was fitted onto his head, a cape extending from his back. A head that looked almost identical to Magne’s formed on his right hand, as the armor completed its transformation. Revealing a knight, fearsome in appearance, and a combination of WarGreymon X and MetalGarurumon X parts. “Omegamon (X)” his voice was much different than before, calm, but resonating with power and authority.
“Do you see it now, Madleomon?” the holy knight spoke towards his opponent, as if trying to open his eyes to something that was right in front of him. “This is the power of a human, pushing beyond the limits of what I would be capable of on my own, and he is fighting for a more worthy cause than you,” he took steps towards the corrupted creature, extending his left arm as a sword emerged from the WarGreymon’s head. “I am the power of Drake’s soul, let’s see what you can do,” he raised his arm, and with a slash a massive wave of energy was unleashed towards the Madleomon, the Grey Sword showing its power.
Magne looked on with slight interest, seeing Tyr take a new form and smirked widely, “Well, look at what that bastard can do.” He laughed, turning his attention towards the Zeedmilleniummon, he opened up all the ports once more, a grin on his features. With the ultimates gone it was just back to the two of them once more, so he was going to make sure to blast that one to smithereens. “Garuru Burst!” he fired all his weapons once more, unleashing a torrent of missiles, lasers, bullets, and a freezing beam. The missiles also were programmed to close in from different angles. Creating an all-encompassing attack against the over-sized mega.

Sho grinned. It looked like the baby birds were gonna be more fun than he thought. Releasing the lance and flipping backwards to avoid the attacks of the others, his left foot aimed to strike the upper Biyomon in the face, he pulled out his D-Flip, pressing a few buttons, as his sword appeared before him, taking it in his right hand, and charging again, this time with a leaping slash. "It'll take more than that to beat me, ya little twits!"
As his targets faded away into data, Gailardia reassessed the situation, and decided it best to remove distractions before aiming for his true target. As such, he focused himself on his original foe, the Megidramon. However, this wasn't just a battle with an enemy. It was a battle with his past. With what he had been so long ago. Removing the Dynas from his arm, he used his "sorcery" to lengthen and narrow the blade, changing it into a sword to match the one he bore in his right hand. With the two blades, he flew at the Megidramon, crimson feathers littering the air behind him as the injured wing was steadily repairing itself, and aimed to strike the Megidramon with a flurry of slashes from both weapons.
Badaq had no such luck. Squared off against a much stronger opponent, he wasn't prepared to dodge high-speed attack, attempting to jump back and avoid it, only to be struck in the left leg with a direct hit. Landing and clutching his leg, he grimaced, before standing to retaliate, though still pained from his leg. Again, he fired off two Guren Juuouha, this time, however, he followed them with a Seisei no Houkou, roaring out to unleash the searing fire blast.
((Sorry it's kind of short, didn't have much muse to work with.))

Monty was too preoccupied with the advancing digimon. Taking little heed of his words, the pair bared claws and fangs, hatred running deep within them only fueled by their dark markings. The man found himself repelled, inching his torso back as his feet shuffled backwards, his plan failing as his nervousness appeared on his face. Without his digimon, there wasn't anyone to back him up, he was all on his own. Forced with the foreign experience of fighting non-humans, the boy instinctively shielded himself when the Gazimon pounced for him. He half tripped over a rock, falling backwards and just before those sharp claws raked across the air in front of him. He caught himself on one hand, scraping it badly as he snarled with pain. In the air where the LadyDevimon was fighting, she could feel his attempts to feed himself, and was steadily gaining strength. Without an opponent to stop her she wheeled around to see the battle between Phage and the MetalGarurumon.
It was at that moment that Monty lifted his digivice. The object shook violently in his damaged hand, a trickle of blood darkening across its screen as a crimson light exploded outwards towards his would be assailant. Brows furrowed, Monty clutched his only weapon, a weapon that could create - as well as destroy. Pandora felt this surge of energy and doubled over in what seemed to be pain, but anything but. Her form shifted under a visible glow of violent energy before reforming before their very eyes. Like many of the other digimon, she too emerged from the aura as a stronger being, her mega form, the regal Lillthmon. The woman lifted her sights, spotting the two waring digimon and decided, with a cocky flick of her head, that she would aide her reptilian counterpart. Using both hands, she fused together a small amount of her endless dark aura and formed a being. A five fingered hand monster was drawn to her summons and reacted towards her will. The hand monster reached out to swat aside some of the missiles, while taking the hit for the Zeed as she was flanked by the much smaller, but still very powerful mega that now joined her.
Chanting, Pandora reached out her hand, etching a glowing purple symbol underneath the MetalGarurumonX in the form of her dark pentagram, hoping to slow and drain the life-force from the mechanic hound while the dragonic demon arched her demon nail attack towards the creature, with enough force to crush metal.

And just like that Claw's battle was seemingly ended, yet again. The dragon let out a bellow of rage as his all three of his opponents, vanished from view and fed the Madleomon. Growling with eyes now narrowed, the large dragon turned his attention towards the lion as well. It seemed, for the second time, he had allowed the lion to take data that rightful belonged to him! Yet before he could act upon this sudden, impulse to attack the other mega, his original foe from before made his presence known. The dragon snarled lowly and narrowed his eyes as the MedievalDukemon advanced towards him with both of weapons bared to strike him down. The dragon merely snorted softly, a small stream of smoke slipping from both of his flared nostrils.
It seemed his challenge hadn't completely been obligated yet. Grinning wildly, the dragon flapped his giant wings and took off into the air, barely missing the Dukemon's weapons by sheer inches. Yet if this last close call affected the dragon, it certainly wasn't shown on his facial features. Instead the grin merely widened against the dragon's twisted maw.
He wanted a fierce battle, he was going to get one!
" I hope you'll provide me with a better challenge than those weaklings! Megiddo Flame! ", At those words the dragon opened his mouth and within the back of his throat, a bright orange ball could be seen. Seconds later, said ball exploded from the Megidramon's open jaws, in a burst of hot and scorching flames that shot out and towards the Medievildukemon.

Back with Leiko...
Betamon charged Leiko, leaping into the air to grab a hold of her arm with his teeth, the tiniest of growls rumbling in his chest.
The young woman couldn't help but grin to herself when the Betamon charged, and attempted to grab a hold of her arm. She already held many scars from several incidents in the past, on her beautiful skin there was no way in hell she was going to let this little bastard scar her beautiful skin even more! Without so much as a thought , she quickly twisted to the side, rose her left leg and kicked out at the attacking digimon with the heel of her shoe. She wasn't sure how much damage that it would have done to the digimon considering it was much more powerful than a regular rookie, but she was sure the kick would have at least stunned him for a few seconds.
With a swoosh of her black dress, she returned to her normal posture and reached up and flicked several of her strands of her black hair from her eyes before risking a small glance towards Monty. The first thing to catch her eye was the blood spilling from a wound against his skin. She smirked before she could stop herself. She would never admit it to anyone; but the sight of him bleeding brought a small thrill of pleasure coursing through her. There was something about seeing a male, such as Monty, so twisted within his own demons and with no apparent defensive background to protect himself, that made her own darkness come to the surface. She had found out long ago that she was the type of person who enjoyed watching others suffer when it was convenient enough for her.
Turning away from her thoughts at hand, she focused back on her target for the moment, though, occasionally throwing small glances in Claw's direction. It seemed her partner's thirst for battle had increased from the previous incident. In fact she could feel said hunger and desire coursing into her from her digivice. The smirk only widened against her lips. She could only wonder how much more it would take for her partner to go completely off the edge...

No one would have ever known that beneath his now-overconfident bellow, he was feeling a terrible, terrible pain. There was a cost to all of this power he had just received and it was in the form of the black markings that plagued his body.
The pain stemmed from the chainsaw now surgically attached to his arm, replacing the clawed hand that once been there. From there the pain spread across his entire body, as if the armor now protecting his form had been stapled forcibly to his skin. But he ignored it. It might have been slowly ticking away at his health, but it helped to end at least one of these creature’s lives, then that was all that mattered. He needed to live just long enough to destroy the ones that dared to oppose him and hand the key to one of his comrades.
Its true owner was waiting for it.
In a normal person, the boy’s speech might have stirred some sort of honor in them, but MadLeomon only saw excuses. It seemed to the giant lion that the boy was grasping for straws, grabbing a hold of anything he could to tell himself that he was stronger than the monster. But MadLeomon felt nearly invincible now, despite the pain resonating from within.
He didn’t even bother to justify the boy with a response. MadLeomon, in his new glorious form, merely watched as the creature digivolved once again. The lion snorted with contempt: it wasn’t going to be enough. The Omnimon was not going to be able to defeat him on his own.
And everyone else was occupied or against him.
Omnimon X seared the air with his sword, sending a blast of energy in MadLeomon’s direction. The giant lion snarled, teeth bared in a confident smirk as he lifted his chainsaw hand. It roared to life, the chains spinning dangerously along the blade. He slashed his weapon with a mighty arc of his shoulder and countered the attack, slashing the energy into bits with a single swipe. The blade slammed hard into the ground, kicking up bits of rocks and debris.
MadLeomon chortled to himself and lurched forward, driving the still-spinning blade through the ground toward the Omnimon X. The debris spun like shrapnel through the air, the larger ones taking out trees as the blade picked up moment, blue energy licking like fire around the blade. MadLeomon swept it as his opponent, a large trench appearing the ground as he aimed to cleave the Omnimon in half, or at least take a limb with him. “You’ll have to do better than that!” he declared.
***
The rookies were having their own little bouts of trouble. However, they were all faring quite well with their human opponents. The Gazimon’s teeth clamped down on air, but he achieved his ultimate goal: getting the boy on the ground. With one more powerful bound he would land right on top of the boy’s stomach, taking the wind from his lungs and teeth gnashing to grab ahold of anything they could.
Even the Betamon, despite discovering that his opponent had some fight in her, was doing well. Her leg came up to counter his move and her foot struck him true—his lungs were emptied. However, the single little claw on his flippers were all he needed to get the traction that he needed. They stuck through her black dress, tearing little ribbons from the fabric as he fought to dig those claws into the flesh of her leg. Through gasping for breath he fought, trying to crawl his way up to her torso.
Those black markings made them machines.
Against Sho, the Biyomon were finding themselves thinking hard about the fight, trying to assess his skill level and how hard they needed to fight. During his daring escape of their attack, one Biyomon took a kick to the chin, but the other kept going, her wings carrying her further. He might have forgotten that they were capable of flight or just didn’t care, but either way, by the time he landed his flip, she was in a collision-course for his chest. The others merely scattered as he leaped at them, surrounding him on three sides.
***
Undaunted or even happy by his direct hit, the regal sphinx digimon stood tall. He watched his fellow feline crash and made barely a move until the Flaremon retaliated. It launched two attacks at him, and his response was two of his own attacks. Similar balls of dark energy were sent flying toward the attacks and they met together in the air with glorious explosions.
However, there was still the reverberating waves from the Flaremon’s roar that had to be dealt with.
And yet, the AncientSphinxmon did nothing. He lowered his head and turned his shoulder to bear the brunt of the attack. The force pushed him back a couple feet and his body was washed over by the flames. Smoke rose off of his body, covering his form. Until, that is, he made a sweeping gesture with his hips and shoulders, slashing his wings through the air to clear it of the smoke. His black armor looked no worse for the wear, but it had still hurt.
His pride would not let him show it.
Without moving, his eyes began to glow. His mouth opened again, but instead of the dark ball of energy, twin beams shot from his eyes. They were barely visible to a person with normal site, like a laser that could only be seen if caught in the right light. His head snapped back slightly as the beams shot with all the speed of light through the air, and like that it was gone. It was as if nothing had happened, but that thought was soon pushed away as the trees around them started to fall, sliced clean in half.
It was a warning shot. Deep divots had appeared in the ground around the Flaremon, trees toppling behind him. The message was loud and clear: “Relent or perish.” [/style][style=width: 410px; background-color: #C8C8C8; font: 9px courier new; text-transform: uppercase; color: #000000; padding: 5px; border-left: 1px solid #000000; border-right: 1px solid #000000;]omg, this post. omg.[/style][style=width: 410px; height: 25px; padding: 5px; background-image: url(http://colourlovers.com.s3.amazonaws.com/images/patterns/0/237.png); border-left: 1px solid #000000; border-right: 1px solid #000000; border-bottom: 1px solid #000000;][/style][style=width: 420px; font: 18px times new roman; text-transform: uppercase; color: #000000; letter-spacing: -2px; margin-top: -3px;]creatures lie here looking through the window[/style]

Sho chuckled as he landed, seeing his kick ring true, before spinning the sword in his hand. He saw the other Biyomon coming for him, and rather than dodge or block, he did the strangest, and probably stupidest, thing he'd done yet. He reeled his head back, and swung it down with incredible force, aiming to slam his head directly into the Biyomon's skull, as he had done to the black-haired male earlier in the encounter. It was a risky gambit, but he couldn't risk damaging his hands in a fight, and he was gambling on the incredible durability of his skull. There was no guarantee he would be uninjured, hell, there was a near-guarantee he WOULD be injured, but it wouldn't stop him. "There's no way in hell...that I'll be beat...by a bunch of fucking PINK CANARIES!"
Gailardia sighed, as his foe was had evaded his attack, and countered with such a simple blast. Thanks to the boost from Data Miracle, he dispelled the flame with a simple crossed slash, before launching a blade of wind created through Sorcery at the dragon, and hearing the rev of a large machine. He turned for a mere moment towards the source of the sound, only to see that MadLeomon had changed. He appeared much stronger, with armor added to his body, and in place of the massive clawed hand that nearly crushed his lord, a roaring chainsaw larger than most Digimon. Acting on sheer instinct and willpower, he moved at a nearly blinding speed, leaving crimson feathers in his wake, and raised both blades before him, aimed to pierce into MadLeomon, before an attempt at a quick escape to dodge retaliation. He could feel himself starting to lose his boost, so he had estimated an approximate 50-50 chance of success in his venture. But of course, nothing ventured, nothing gained. And with the momentum he had built up and his increased power, if he managed to connect, it'd likely deal fair damage to the behemoth.
Badaq, however, did quite the opposite of his partners. Against the obviously stronger and faster foe, he knew he could not win nor escape, so he opted to stand his ground, not attacking, nor retreating. He stood, staring down the AncientSphinxmon, his will evident and his body completely calm. He was fluid as water, but fierce as flame. A technique Sho had instructed him on. Taking a loose, relaxed stance, he merely stood his ground, unwavering, motionless, and calm. He was waiting, anticipating. He wouldn't be caught off guard again.
((I don't really know whether Data Miracle counts the post it's first used in or not, so I assumed it did. If not, I'll write out the boosts completely leaving Gailardia in the next post. Also, staredown!))

This was the time to let loose with everything that they had, and not give their opponents a moment of breathing room. When the MadLeomon took a swing at Omegamon X and told him to do better, the holy knight bowed his head and leapt over the attack. “As you wish, I will show no restraint in my attacks from this moment forward,” he spoke as though he were truly a knight in this form, or perhaps something even beyond a simple knight as well. His eyes taking in the form of the Madleomon, before lifting his sword once more, and engulfing it within a bright light. “All Delete” the simple yet self-explanatory words, initiated an attack with power beyond normal understandings, the letters on his sword glowing brightly. As he swung the sword down, the immense power behind it would collide with the chainsaw arm. However, this wasn’t the end of the attack, as he released the large cannon from the MetalGarurumon(x)’s head.
With aiming, he fired a powerful blast of freezing energy, the Garuru Cannon, that if the Madleomon avoided would be aimed to blast at the two humans that were on the infected Digimon’s side. There would be no mercy from Drake or Omegamon X, they wanted to help this abomination get to the human world, then they would be treated with the same regard. Let them learn what it meant to stand against them, then maybe they would learn that they should choose who they oppose more carefully. Of course, then the red knight decided to come and attack Madleomon, “Shouldn’t you be focusing on the red dragon that was your opponent?” It seemed a bad call to abandon the enemy to come and not focus on the opponent he had been fighting against.

When the Lilithmon’s attack came close, a bubble formed around him, and sent the attack right back at her with the same lethality. As the Zeedmilleniummon attempted to crush him as well, the cannon on his shoulder would change shape for a moment, becoming slightly different. “Winter Cannon: Ice Cannon shot!” firing it into the claw as it moved to wrap around him, if the Zeed didn’t do something to get the hand away to avoid it, it would find itself frozen completely solid. To add to the matter, he would fire his Metal Storm at the hand as well, aiming to shred it apart for coming so closer.
“Don’t underestimate me, just because you two have numbers. It’s quality, not quantity, bitches,” he smirked deviously. Firing off a Cocytus Breath at the Lilithmon, letting her get a feel of the absolute zero blast as well.

The Gazimon was now upon him. Like a rabid dog with purpose in some sort of twisted act of revenge, leaped to pounce upon his torso. And while the boy was already half up, the weight colliding with his wiry frame was enough to send him backwards again, the fall indeed catching the breath from his body. His eyes rounded upon the creature who was adamant with sticking its fangs into his flesh, but Monty would have none of it, at least without a counter attack of his own planned. In his mind, the Gazimon was nothing more than a beast, a beast he was familiar with back home, molded after every single dog and cat purged from the real world as a token of spite towards people he didn't like and those pets belonged to. This big grey beast was nothing more than a nuisance who merely had a temporary upper hand and Monty was well versed in killing animals. Understanding animal physiology as well as learning those of Digimon, he knew that the head was always a vulnerability and there was plenty of things around them that could easily crush skulls.
His free hand rose instantly as those fangs clamped down onto his wrist, his own face wretched with pain as he himself looked as desperate as he was. Monty aimed his fingers to wrap around the Gazimon's throat, below those jaws as he threw both himself and the rabbit dog into the rocks, turning his body just enough to have the creature whiplash against the crag of rock from before - if the digimon was still attached. Tremors shook his body, and he knew that he wouldn't leave this fight without some sort of feeling and physical scar to accompany his journey from then on. Now to what transpired from the other digimon, his own partners as they faced the mecha wolf and his missiles. Pandora sneered as the same attack as before was used to wrap protectively around the digimon, sending the pentagram back towards her. With a few more syllables, she placed herself in her own protective spell, sheilding the negated attack from damaging her while she applied her knowledge her to the battle.
An equally clever strategist, Phage grinned, her heavy paw rounding towards the MetalGarurumon - only to have her opponent wink a beam of ice towards her. Both maws parted in detestment, face twisting in a snarl as the world around her dipped in black. The hole she tore through the fabric of reality bore a force that eagerly sucked her into oblivion, however, as a molder of time and space, she felt little more than a pinch as if her head ducked underneath a forceful wave of water before diving into an ocean of nothingness. With the dragon's sudden disappearance, Lilithmon was left to deal with the threat. Grinning, she stared down the MetalGarurmon, her body poised to spring at any second. "You think you're so great...Your cockiness will get you no where, especially faced with a demon lord!" A blast of equally strong darkness appeared in her hands, the beam crashing with the snowy bomb, sending ice everywhere. She was thrown back, but not by much...Meanwhile, the Zeed was busy charging her next attack, carefully waiting for the right moment to strike.

Yes! Yes! This is what Claw had wanted in an oppoanent in battle! The sheer pleasure, the sheer rush of battle! This had been what the Megidramon had yearned for when it came to battle! He couldn't help but smirk to himself as his enemy easily brushed off his flames with a mere swipe of his lance. Of course the attack hadn't been his strongest attack but it had unnerved him just a bit, of how easily the other had just brushed off his attack as if it were nothing. Still the idea of having such a strong digimon to battle, sent a thirll of excitment through the dragon's body. Yet it didn't last long.
It was at that exact moment, after he had managed to pull himself from the other's strange wind attack, and had been preparing for his counter attack, that he would take notice of what happened next. His opponent of the moment, suddenly jumping off to attack, Madleomon, leaving him standing there and looking after him with a shocked expression on his face. That had been the second, fucking time that this had happened to him! Pure rage suddenly filled the dragon's entire being as he felt his eyes narrow on his former opponent. How dare that bastard suddenly lose interest in him and jump off to fight another battle!
He had let this happen before, without consequences, but there was no way in hell he was going to allow it to happen again! Roaring his rage to the heavens, the dragon suddenly launched himself into the air and with a push of his mighty wings soared over towards his enemy as he attempted to attack the lion.
" Never turn your back on your opponent! Dragon Howling! "
It was at this very second after speaking these words would a horrible, screeching sound wave emit from the dragon's mouth and towards the other digimon.

Unlike her partner, Leiko wasn't having the least fun with her amphibian opponent. For one the digimon was smarter than what she had given him credit for (she hadn't disregarded the black marks but had thought nothing more of them until now) She had managed to land a decent kick to him, but he sprang back up almost as fast and had the nerve to not only slip his little claw against her dress and rip it! But he also had the nerve to now dig his little claws into the flesh of her left leg! Seeing red and ignoring the blood that was now pouring like small ribbons from her leg, she reached out and attempted to grab a hold of the digimon with both hands and attempted to pull him off of her. If she managed to get her hands on him, that's when everything turned violent.
Blinded by her rage, she dug her fingernails into the flesh of the digimon, before flinging the digimon from her. She followed the digimon's decent to the ground, however and only once she was settled besides it would she reach over and instantly wind her fingers around the creature's neck. Yes! Her breath quickened just a touch, as lavender eyes widened and narrowed. Lips parted into a small 'o' only to slip into a very dangerous and feral looking grin on her painted lips. The creature before her, no matter how many people argued that they were nothing but data, was very much alive to her at this very moment.
And for that very reason, was why she wanted to watch it die! To see the last remnants of its pathetic life as it faded before her every eyes! To watch that spark to live die along with it! Yes, yes yes!!
A small chuckle escaped her lips and with it the pulsing of the black digivice at the girl's side. The very machine, was feeding off the girl's anger and desire to end the digimon's life and thus feeding it towards her partner, nearby.

People were getting more and more intent on killing each other, and MadLeomon just wanted one of them to survive long enough to pass on his message, to get the key to its real owner, the only person who would ever know how to use it and where. That was his mission, and he wasn’t about to let these digimon ruin it for him and everyone.
The worlds had to be cleansed.
MadLeomon found himself with two different Digimon converging on him. The “knight” dealing with his dragon ally had turned to attack him instead of keep his eyes on his true opponent, and the Omegamon was swing his sword and blasting cannons at him. He snorted with contempt and pulled his chainsaw arm up and around in a wide arc, sweeping it under the sword and kicking up a flurry of dirt, roots, rocks, and other dangerous debris that rained over the battlefield. With a snarl, he swung his weapon around and twisted his body to bat the M.Dukemon away, chain still rotating.
However, there was little he could do about the cannon blast. Lucky for the monster lion, his entire body was covered with a durable armor. The cannon blast hit him in the chest, radiating out from the center of his body. He held his ground, moving one foot back to keep his balance until the blast ended. His armor plating was covered with ice and it stung, but he still stood tall.
And the pain lanced through his body again. MadLeomon snarled.
Now he was in a rage. Teeth bared and ears flat against his head, the mighty lion stood tall and lifted his chainsaw high. With a great roar the machine came to life once more and he launched himself at the Omegamon, swinging the weapon wildly and hacking apart anything that came at him, anything that got in the way. Trees were shredded, the ground was cut open. MadLeomon kept charging and swinging, trying to drive his opponent back into the defensive, slashing and hacking and hacking and slashing. . . never giving the Omegamon room to breathe.
He didn’t care about anything else.
***
The other Digimon weren’t in such a rage. The Biyomon were having quite the time. This stubborn boy they fought was proving to be the best entertainment they had had in a long while. He chose to stand his ground and headbutt the Biyomon coming at him, but the poor guy seemed to have failed to take into consideration that big, pointy beak she had on her face.
The one pointed right at him.
And that was when the others struck. They all attacked at once, slashing with their claws and jabbing their beaks at him, just trying to get him onto the ground. Their motives were unknown, but so far their attacks had been far from fatal.
It was the same for the Betamon and the Gazamon. Both of the humans managed to get their grubby little hands on them, and both seemed to have the same idea. The wrong idea. Their fingers curled around their bodies, but unlike the Gazimon, the Betamon was pretty much all fat and muscle. The woman would find it hard for her pretty, tiny little hands to wrap around anything close to a “throat.” Her fingers did dig into his skin quite uncomfortably, though.
However, the poor Gazimon was a lot closer to something with a normal neck. He was quite uncomfortable under the body of the human he was fighting and he wriggled slightly, one eye closed against the discomfort. These Digimon were built to battle monsters three times their size or bigger, and they could definitely stand being man-handled by a couple of puny humans.
At the very same instance, the two Digimon smirked up at their respective opponents.
Gazimon’s mouth popped open and his entire body crackled with electricity. It would only be enough to stun the human on top of him, nothing damaging. He just needed the boy to get off of him so he could turn the tides and pin him down. His Betamon partner did the exact same thing with the woman on top of him. His smooth body crackled with the kind of electricity one would find in a taser—crippling, but nothing with permanent damage.

AncientSphinxmon stared his opponent down with an unwavering glance, expression blank. He wasn’t put off-guard by the lion’s stance, nor the fact that he wasn’t moving. His sole objective was to keep the Flaremon from harming MadLeomon, wasn’t it? His only purpose for being in that fight was to keep anyone from interfering, and that ‘mon right now was the flaming lion before him.
So what did it matter if he was doing it through battle or not? The Flaremon wasn’t attacking, he wasn’t moving, he wasn’t doing anything. That meant. . . he wasn’t interfering.
The ancient digimon had succeeded in his goal.
That Flaremon could stand there as long as he wanted to. As soon as he made a move, AncientSphinxmon would make his move and continue to keep him out of the fight. His goal was accomplished until he was dead.
Until then, Flaremon was out of the fight. That was good, that meant he would have a bit of an easier time getting him down, it was just a matter of time. Of course, the Medieval Dukemon managed to strike as well and while it did damage also seemed to push Madleomon over the edge. A slight ‘tsk’ came from the holy knight, he wished he would have been able to prevent the beast going into a berserker frenzy. Unfortunately, it seemed that it wouldn’t be the case as the lion-like creature came lunging at him with that chainsaw once more. Power surging through his sword as it became surrounded in a holy light, clashing repeatedly with the chainsaw, keeping the attacks at bay as he could. It wasn’t perfect though, as cuts in his armor formed from slashes that slipped through. A slight snort of irritation came from the knight before he decided to use the advantage he had, which was the Garuru Cannon, and repeatedly began firing blast after blast of arctic energy at the Madleomon.
Drake, watching the battle, decided it was time to heat things up for the corrupted cat as well and shifted the digivice to bring up the next card. “Digi-modify: Radiant Blade!” with those words, powerful flames erupted from the blade, threatening to burn even the chainsaw that clashed against the sword. As the holy knight pushed against the Madleomon with incredible strength all his own, in an attempt to push the creature off balance.

Extending the barrel of his Gatling Cannon, and firing off a quick barrage of his Metal Storm towards the Lilithmon. Of course, this was more to distract her, as the missile ports on his body all opened at once, and fired off an ice wolf bite. The missiles flying into the air, before suddenly spreading in different directions, converging on the location of Monty and Leiko. If the humans didn’t take immediate action, they would be caught in the blast, and thusly killed.
Of course, that had been the MetalGarurumon’s aim, he was going to get rid of the enemies. There would be no mercy for those that tried to destroy either world, and he was just the one to go through with the action. They threatened the people that Drake had said he would defend, that made them targets to eliminate, and they would not show mercy to their opponents. So, it was simply returning like kind to those that were attempting the destruction of everything.

Blood dripping from his now-damaged forehead, Sho grunted, before chuckling heavily. It seemed he'd nearly lost it, feeling no pain from the various cuts and bruises being cause by the Biyomons' attacks. However, despite their best efforts, they couldn't manage to force him down. He glanced at his arms, seeing his blood flow down, dripping into the soil, his eyes shot to attention. A deep growl escaped his lips, as his body started to sway a bit. He swung his arms up quickly to the sides, aiming to strike two of the Biyomon in the chins, before spinning in place to sweep his left leg at all of them. As he skidded his foot to stop spinning, he pulled out the red card once more, swiping it whilst yelling out "Badaq! Now's your time! Saidai Shinka!" Swiping the card, it erupted into flames of data, which rushed over to Badaq, engulfing him entirely in flames.
Gailardia was having difficulty fighting the large beast. His attack landed successfully, but served to do not much more than infuriate the monster, and when it swung it's massive arm around, Gailardia could barely manage to put up a guard, being knocked flying before managing to correct himself a good few yards away from his original foe, who had proceeded to launch an attack beforehand. Having no time to counter, Gailardia was hit with the full brunt of the sonic assault, before managing to face the dragon through the attack, and glaring at him through his helmet. He scoffed, before stating quite clearly through the glints of pain as the attack wound to it's end "Heh, impatient bastard, aren't you? I'd love nothing more than to tear you apart in combat, but right now, you're not my priority. If you want to battle me that much, how about you wait until I'm done with him, and you'll have my undivided attention? That way, you can fight me to your black heart's content. Doesn't it sound like a much better deal than trying to interfere in my fight with MadLeomon? You're not even really on his side. To him, you're a pawn, something to be used and discarded. And I can't give my all to fighting a lowly pawn, so if you want to fight me, just wait your turn, got it?"
As the flames engulfed Badaq, he could feel himself changing, he could feel the flame deep within, burning brightly, his just heart aching to defeat the corrupted foe. After a mere few seconds, the flames burst away, revealing a mighty visage standing there. "I am Apollomon, of the Olympus Twelve, named Badaq by my master. You who bend to evil's will, begone. If you do not cede, I will show no mercy whatsoever." The mighty lion-man stood, taking stance to prepare in case of an attack by the foe. He wasn't the measly Flaremon he was before, and he knew he could fight on even terms with the other lion now.

Funny thing about dogs - dogs don't fucking unleash a load of electricity upon their assailants.
Monty;s thin lips rose into a pleased snarl at the sight of the creature squirming underneath him, eyes tightly laced with discomfort as he slowly wrangled the life from their little bodies. He hoped that Leiko was faring decently against her attacker as well if only for the fact that they were cruelly outnumbered with more digimon on the sidelines. They were in a battle zone, and the shock awoke the dark creature crouched above the furred being to realize that this was reality and he wasn't facing anything he ever faced physically before. Unused to this mode of counter attack, all the male could do was yelp in surprise, the wave of electricity rolling through his body as he felt the debilitating effects of the attack course through his veins. Not good. While fighting to remain upright, limbs twitching resolutely, he swung the creature to the side, severing the connection between them as his fingers unlatched from his prey. And just in time, too, as whistling missiles descended right upon the area he leaped back from, a second of recover his breath as he faced his digimon would be murderer.
"Only one of us is going to walk out of this alive, vermin." He spat, wiping a trickle of blood from his mouth."And its sure as hell not going to be you." A violent glaze coated his eyes, head bent down, reassuring himself in his madness. A hand idly reached towards a four cornered object, wondering if such cards possessed the magical ability to grace him with power enough to dispose of this creature where sheer human force seemed naught. The card of flight was now grasp tightly between his trembling fingers before the item flipped against his D-Pad. A flash of brief black light erupted from the screen- but it wasn't over yet, not in the slightest.
Without skipping a beat, his heart lurched. A hand rose to clutch weakly at his chest and the loose threads that had been holding his black shirt upon his torso gave one final screech as the fabric tore away. Ripples of pain traveled through his body, before pulsating directly into his spine. Giving a cry that pitched back his head in a feral snarl, membrane exploded outward from his body. Bat like wings hunched protectively over his shoulders, stray black feathers poking uncharacteristically between the folds of the membrane as they stretched and contorted into being. He awaited his foe with new found eagerness, the whimper leaving his throat baited and breathless in a sigh of pleasure.
Missiles shook her line of defense as Pandora held the wolf's steady gaze, tossing her head with contempt. "You are a fool to think such thoughts...Did your master put those into your head? How pathetic. Good hearted, evil hearted - you're just a bastard with a big mouth." Another card swipe and the being of darkness unleashed a corrosive sigh, wickedness strong enough to eat through his defenses at the increase of her power as they targeted his metallic surface. Aegeis Break would be a fine combination with the second contender, who slipped back into reality and tore through the atmosphere in the form of blazing twin cast cannon fire as he demon cannon rang true, focused directly upon the soon weakened creature they combated together.
