If you haven't noticed, all the rookies are numbered. There quite a few possible partners that you can start with. The way your partner is selected is random but not overly complicated. A random number generator is used to generate a number and that number corresponds to a Digimon in the following lists, and whatever number pops up becomes your partner. You can choose to "reboot" at the cost of 10% increased point costs until 150 posts. If you reboot a new number and new partner will be generated for you but you can only do it once.[div class="title"]vaccine[/div]Vaccine are usually for those of a noble persuasion, however this is not exclusive. Anyone can pick from here.

Yes we know people have their preferences and some of these Digimon aren't that great, but you gotta remember that in the show, there was always something about the Digimon that made people like them and enjoy being with them. . . their loyalty, their willingness to protect and accept you. . . . I'm sure that Pawnchessmon you got is the same.
So why do we do the random thing? For a few reasons.
(A) People in the show didn't get to choose what they got. They were just given a random Digimon based on FATE, so we're trying to replicate that feeling of FATE by giving you something random.
(B) No one likes to have 50 Agumon running around, right? Well randomizing Digimon will void that whole scenario. We might get a few different Digimon replicas running around, but that's to be expected with only so many Rookies, but at least not everyone will be asking for Salamon.
(C) We want to challenge you guys. Play with something you've never played with before, work toward some sort of character development and have some fun diologue between your character and their partner! We want you to TRY a little bit.
Now we know that you REALLY REALLY don't want that Chuumon you got. But before you think about getting a reboot (WHICH COSTS YOU 10% MORE POINTS TO BUY SOMETHING UNTIL THAT ACCOUNT REACHES 150 POSTS, AND YOU CAN ONLY DO IT ONCE) remember that not only do you have to pay extra for everything, but you might end up with a something you want even less than Chuumon and guess what? You can't go back to the first Digimon you rolled. Why? Because we don't want you to reboot at all. But we give you the option because we're kind gods and realize that sometimes FATE is wrong.
There are a few things you should do and think about before you ask to be rebooted (besides the things mentioned above):
(A) Look at it's Digivolution lines! It might have some really nice lines for you to follow. Like Chuumon. That little mouse can turn into GeoGreymon. What's wrong with that?
(B) Remember that we have several compromises to this that can help you deal with that Lalamon! You can buy different perma levels! So your Chuumon can start walking around as GeoGreymon with a few points. We also allow slide Digivolving, and in fact, you can buy a permanent slide! So they'll change to a different Digimon altogether! Of course this only applies if your Digimon does have a slide. And you can buy a second Digimon, free of randomization, so it can be ANYTHING!
So before you give up that Solarmon, think hard about what good a Digimon like that would do for your character, and do a bit of research to make sure that you definitely don't want it. Don't judge it by it's appearance. . . judge it by it's lines and everything you can find on DMA first before deciding to reboot.
